Practical advice

How can you prepare for a technician’s visit?

Accurate information and clear access help the diagnosis without requiring you to handle the installation.

Gather useful facts

Record the symptoms, how often they occur, when they started and any recent changes. Keep available references or manuals without dismantling the equipment.

  • A timeline of the problem
  • Photographs taken from a safe area
  • Visible messages or codes
  • Recent interventions or repairs

Prepare access

Provide the floor, entry code, parking constraints and the person who will be present. Clear access only when this does not involve moving anything dangerous.

Keep the area safe

Do not restart suspect equipment to reproduce the fault. Keep children and animals away and tell the technician about any hazard or product already used.
